Powertrain and Gearbox

The updated model adopts a smaller-displacement 890cc V2 motor producing 110 hp and 92 Nm of torque. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox specifically tuned to enhance the motorcycle's adventure and off-road capabilities. Ducati claims that up to 70 percent of the torque is available at lower rev ranges, improving throttle control and rideability during off-road conditions.

Off-roading and Riding Comfort

The motorcycle has been redesigned with rider ergonomics and off-road performance in mind. Updates include revised footpeg positioning, reworked seats, and adjusted handlebar placement to improve comfort and control. The DesertX features a 19-litre fuel tank designed for long-distance touring and adventure riding. The seat height is also adjustable, with a standard height of 880 mm.
