2026 KTM 390 Duke Revealed Globally With New Brakes & Colourway
KTM has unveiled the 2026 KTM 390 Duke for global markets with hardware updates focused on braking performance and a new colour option, while the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged for the new model year.
The most significant update on the 2026 390 Duke is the introduction of a new WP FCR4 front brake caliper. The caliper replaces the previous setup and is claimed to offer improved braking performance and better feel. The braking system continues to feature a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc.

The 2026 KTM 390 Duke retains its cornering ABS system, along with Supermoto ABS, which allows riders to disable rear-wheel ABS for more aggressive riding. These electronic aids remain standard equipment on the 390 Duke.
Visually, the 2026 KTM 390 Duke brings a new matte blue colour scheme, joining the existing darker colour option offered in several global markets. The overall design, body panels and sharp streetfighter styling remain unchanged from the current-generation model.

Powering the 2026 KTM 390 Duke is the same 399cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine introduced with the latest-generation Duke. The engine produces 46hp (around 45bhp) and 39Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The engine continues to meet current global emission norms and features ride-by-wire throttle, enabling multiple electronic rider aids. A bi-directional quickshifter remains standard, allowing clutchless upshifts and downshifts.
The 390 Duke continues to be offered with a steel trellis frame, a bolt-on aluminium subframe, and WP Apex suspension at both ends. Suspension duties are handled by 43mm USD forks at the front and a rear monoshock, both adjustable.
The feature list remains unchanged and includes a 5-inch TFT colour display with Bluetooth connectivity, multiple ride modes, traction control, launch control, and cruise control, making it one of the most feature-rich motorcycles in the sub-400cc segment.
At present, there is no confirmation on whether the updated WP FCR4 front brake caliper or the new blue colour option will be offered on the India-spec KTM 390 Duke, or when the updated model could arrive in the country.
