EV Scooter Sales Feb 2026: TVS Tops Chart, Ola Electric Slips Behind Ampere
The Indian electric two-wheeler market remained stable in February 2026. Based on data from the Vahan portal, TVS Motor Company continued to lead the sales charts with the highest registration numbers. The biggest shift during the month came from Ola Electric, which slipped to sixth position after being overtaken by Greaves Electric Mobility.

TVS Motor Company
TVS dominated the sales rankings, retaining its dominant position in the market. The Hosur-based manufacturer recorded a total sales of 31,601 units in February 2026. Although there was a slight dip compared to January 2026, the numbers remain strong overall. The TVS iQube continues to be the best-selling electric scooter in the Indian market.
Bajaj Auto
Bajaj Auto secured the second position with its Chetak EV lineup. The Pune-based manufacturer sold 25,323 units in February 2026, compared to 25,717 units in January 2026. The Chetak stands out in the segment for its metal body construction and robust build quality.

Ather Energy
Ather Energy retained third place with 20,582 units sold during February 2026, slightly lower than the 22,130 units recorded in January. The company is gradually expanding its appeal among family buyers, driven largely by the Ather Rizta, which has become the brand's best-selling model.
Hero Vida
Hero MotoCorp-owned Vida Electric registered sales of 12,514 units in February 2026, compared to 13,349 units in January. The brand continues to gain market share steadily, surpassing Ola Electric and moving closer to strengthening its position in the EV two-wheeler segment.

Greaves Electric Mobility
One of the biggest surprises came from Greaves Electric Mobility, which climbed to fifth position in overall sales rankings. Its Ampere electric scooters outsold Ola Electric models in February, recording 4,726 units, compared to 5,342 units in January 2026.

Ola witnessed a significant decline in sales, dropping to sixth position in the electric two-wheeler market. The company registered 3,968 units in February 2026, a sharp fall from 7,531 units sold in January, indicating more competition in the EV scooter segment.
