Hero MotoCorp has launched the India-made Hero Xpulse 200 4V and Hero Xpulse 200 Pro in the UK market. These motorcycles are expected to strengthen the company's adventure motorcycle portfolio in the region.
Hero Xpulse 200 4V Range Launched In UK
The world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, has officially introduced its adventure motorcycles in the UK, marking another important milestone in its global expansion strategy. The UK becomes the third European market for the brand after its entry into Italy and Spain.

Both the Xpulse 200 4V and Xpulse 200 Pro are fully manufactured in India and exported to the UK as completely built units. The motorcycles were unveiled at the Inch Perfect Trials venue in Ribble Valley, one of the UK's most popular off-road riding destinations.
The location was specifically chosen because of its challenging terrain, river crossings and rugged trails, which perfectly showcase the off-road capabilities of the Xpulse range. Hero MotoCorp has partnered with MotoGB, which has helped the Indian brand establish its presence in the UK market since last year.

Hero Xpulse 200 4v Series
The Xpulse series is known for offering a balanced combination of on-road comfort and off-road capability. The Xpulse 200 4V is positioned as a lightweight adventure motorcycle with mild off-road abilities, while the Xpulse 200 Pro is designed for more serious off-road riding with additional hardware and enhancements.
The Xpulse 200 Pro comes equipped with raised handlebars, an extended gear lever and a taller seat setup tailored specifically for off-road usage. These additions increase the overall weight of the motorcycle by around 2 kg, taking the kerb weight to 161 kg compared to the standard Xpulse 200 4V.

The suspension setup also differs between the two motorcycles. The standard Xpulse 200 4V gets conventional 37 mm telescopic front forks, while the Pro version features fully adjustable telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock setup for improved off-road performance. Both motorcycles use a 276 mm front disc brake and a 220 mm rear disc brake setup.
Key highlights
Some of the major highlights include an LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation support, a Class-D LED projector headlamp, LED DRLs, hand guards, a luggage plate and bash plates.

Engine and Price
Both motorcycles are powered by the same 199.6 cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine that produces 18.9 hp and 17.35 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The standard Xpulse 200 4V is priced at 2,699 GBP, which roughly translates to Rs 3.5 lakh, while the Xpulse 200 Pro is priced at 2,899 GBP, equivalent to around Rs 3.76 lakh.
Hero MotoCorp has entered the UK market after Royal Enfield, which is already one of the leading motorcycle brands in the region. Hero's strategy appears to focus on capturing the entry-level adventure motorcycle segment by offering affordable and capable ADV motorcycles for global buyers.
