Jawa 42 Launched In New Ivory Colourway - Priced At ₹1.85 Lakh
Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched a new Ivory colour option for the Jawa 42, priced at Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Ivory shade becomes the most expensive version in the Jawa 42 lineup.
The Ivory finish brings a lighter paint scheme to the otherwise dark-themed palette of the Jawa 42 range. The new Ivory colourway now sits above the existing dual-channel ABS alloy-wheel variant of Jawa 42, which was previously the top trim priced at Rs 1.83 lakh (ex-showroom). No mechanical or equipment changes accompany the introduction of the new colour for the Jawa 42.
The Jawa 42 in Ivory continues to draw power from the same 294.72cc single-cylinder that powers the other variants of the bike. The liquid-cooled engine produces 27 bhp and 26.84 Nm of torque and is paired with a six-speed gearbox and an assist-and-slipper clutch.
Other mechanical bits also remain unchanged. The Jawa 42 uses a double-cradle frame suspended by telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends, supported by ABS.
Under Jawa Yezdi's Ownership Assurance Programme, the 42 is offered with a standard warranty of four years or 50,000 km, extendable up to six years at an additional cost. Buyers can also choose roadside assistance for up to eight years and an annual maintenance contract of up to five years with nationwide coverage.
