Spy Pics: Norton Atlas Spotted Testing In India Ahead Of Launch
TVS-owned British bikemaker Norton has been spotted once again testing the upcoming Atlas adventure motorcycle on Indian roads, providing a clearer view of the bike than previous sightings. Earlier spy shots had revealed only the rear section, while the latest images show the front design in detail.
The test mule of the upcoming Atlas ADV appears to be the standard Atlas variant rather than the road-focused GT model. The Norton Atlas is expected to launch in international markets first, around mid-2026, followed by an India debut shortly after.

The Norton Atlas features a distinctive front end with a narrow yet wide headlamp housed within a muscular fairing, topped by a tall windscreen. The motorcycle uses upside-down front forks finished in gold.
The Norton Atlas test mule appears to run a 19-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel, confirming it as the adventure-oriented standard version. The GT variant uses 17-inch wheels at both ends. Block-pattern tyres further indicate its off-road capability.

Power for the all-new Atlas ADV from Norton is expected to come from a 585cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crank layout. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and the Output from this twin-cylinder unit is likely to be around 70 bhp.
This new engine, seen on the Norton Atlas ADV, has been developed as part of the British marque's revival under TVS ownership and will underpin multiple models in the Atlas range including the road-focused Atlas GT.

The Norton Atlas is expected to be equipped with a large TFT display offering connected functionality like Bluetooth, navigation and more. Electronic aids on the new Atlas will likely include multiple riding modes, traction control, cruise control and other assistance systems.
Production of the all-new Norton Atlas is planned to start at TVS Motor Company's Hosur facility in Tamil Nadu, once final testing is complete. The Norton Atlas is expected to be launched globally first later this year, with an India launch scheduled to happen soon after.
