Bengaluru-based startup Simple Energy has unveiled its Gen 2 electric scooters in India. The Simple One is now available in three variants, including the Ultra model, which claims a maximum range of over 400 km. Check out what's new in these Gen 2 scooters with complete details.

Simple One equips three different battery variants: 3.7 kWh, 4.5 kWh, and 5.0 kWh. The new Ultra Variant features a larger 6 kWh Battery pack that offers a longer range.

Improved Performance
Simple Energy has stated that it has reduced the weight of these scooters, making them more agile and battery-efficient compared to existing models. The chassis has also been improved, enhancing overall performance with better stability, handling, and control.
More Technology
The scooters now come with new EcoX and SonicX modes. EcoX is optimised to deliver maximum range, while SonicX is tuned for maximum performance and speed. Additionally, the scooters are equipped with a traction control system in four different levels, along with an advanced cruise control system offering Standard (highways) and Metro (cities) driving modes.

Excellent Convenience
Simple Energy has listened to user and reviewer feedback and has now lowered the seat height to 780 mm, making it more comfortable and ergonomic for all kinds of riders. The seat has also been made stiffer, which is better suited for longer rides.
The scooter also features a large 35-litre under-seat storage, which enhances daily practicality and convenience for families. Additionally, it features a 1-litre glove box for storing small items, including smartphones.

All-New Simple One Ultra
The brand has also unveiled the Simple One Ultra, which offers the longest claimed battery range in the lineup. It is equipped with a larger 6 kWh battery pack, claiming a maximum range of 400 km.
The rest of the technology and features remain similar to the regular Simple One scooters. This scooter is expected to make its debut in Q2 2026. The pricing of the scooter could be on the higher side, somewhere around 1.90 Lakh (ex-showroom).
