Yamaha XSR155 Prices Hiked: New Metallic Black Colour Launched

Yamaha has revised the pricing of the XSR155, which was launched back in November, while also launching a new Metallic Black paint scheme for ₹1,58,990 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). Until now, all colour options of the Yamaha XSR155 were priced the same, but the latest update brings variant-wise pricing depending on the shade you choose.

The Metallic Blue version of the Yamaha XSR155 remains the entry point at ₹1,49,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The other three previously launched colour options have become more expensive, with increases ranging from ₹3,000 to ₹9,000.

Here's how the revised pricing now stands for the Yamaha XSR155:
• Metallic Blue - ₹1,49,990 (no change)
• Vivid Red - ₹1,52,990
• Metallic Grey - ₹1,56,990
• Greyish Green Metallic - ₹1,58,990
• Metallic Black (new) - ₹1,58,990

The Greyish Green Metallic and the newly added Metallic Black sit at the top of the Yamaha XSR155 range. As the name suggests, the new colour gives the XSR155 an all-black finish across the tank, panels and bodywork. It is paired with gold-finished USD front forks, which stand out sharply against the darker paint scheme.

Yamaha XSR155 - No Changes Under The Skin

Apart from the cosmetic update and price revision, everything else remains unchanged. The Yamaha XSR155 continues to use the same 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) that pushed out 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm of peak torque, which is paired with a six-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch.

The Yamaha XSR155 also retains its Deltabox frame, upside-down front forks, rear monoshock and disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS. The Yamaha XSR155 also gets traction control as standard.
