Yezdi Roadster Red Wolf Edition - What's New And What's Stayed The Same?

The new Yezdi Roadster Red Wolf Edition features a unique red paint scheme paired with prominent chrome elements across the motorcycle. The fuel tank carries the bold red finish along with black graphics, while the chrome detailing can be on components such as the handlebars, engine and exhaust.

Apart from the new colour and edition-specific branding, the Red Wolf Edition of the Yezdi Roadster features a unique brown seat. However, the overall neo-retro design of the Roadster remains unchanged, including the round headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank and low, stretched stance. The feature list also remains unchanged and includes full LED lighting and a digital instrument cluster.

Mechanically, the Yezdi Roadster Red Wolf Edition is identical to the standard motorcycle. The Red Wolf continues with the same double cradle frame, telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS.

Powering the Yezdi Roadster Red Wolf Edition is the unchanged 334cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed gearbox and assist-and-slipper clutch. The engine produces 28.7 bhp at 7,300rpm and 29.6 Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm.

Anupam Thareja, Co-founder, Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, said, "The Red Wolf joins the pack of Roadsters from Yezdi, the only true India-born classic motorcycle brand in the world. It is a name which does not have to invent stories. It has them in every decade. Like a true Yezdi forged in India, the Roadster Red Wolf has the rare ability to set the rider up to look good, almost rakishly so, without trying too hard. Its vintage swagger is a throwback to Yezdi's palette of deep reds and metallics from the 1970s. Only this time, beneath its unapologetic chrome lies performance engineering built for Indian roads and modern riders. We've built Yezdi Roadsters for those who don't follow the pack. The Red Wolf is ready to gather its own."
