Yezdi Hints At Special Roadster Edition Launching March 3 — New Design & Red Theme Expected

Yezdi has teased a new variant of the Roadster, which is set to launch in India soon. Mahindra-owned Classic Legends, the parent company behind Jawa, Yezdi, and BSA Motorcycles, has officially confirmed that the upcoming model will make its debut on March 3, 2026, hinting at a refreshed version of the popular retro-styled motorcycle with new visual updates and enhanced appeal.

New Yezdi Roadster Special Edition

The company shared the announcement on social media, with the caption, "This Red Moon, something is waiting in the shadows," hinting at a special-edition model. We expect the new variant to feature an exclusive colour scheme along with unique graphics and visual enhancements.

Classic Legends recently introduced the Jawa 42 Ivory Edition, which brought a more premium look and refreshed aesthetics to the lineup. Following a similar strategy, the brand is now preparing to launch an updated version of the Yezdi Roadster, which currently serves as the entry-level motorcycle in the brand's portfolio.

Teaser Visuals

The teaser suggests that the upcoming variant will feature side extensions, LED indicators, and what appears to be a red-themed paint scheme. The motorcycle is also likely to receive new decals, styling elements, and graphics, enhancing its overall visual appeal while retaining its retro-modern character.

Mechanically, the motorcycle is expected to remain unchanged. It will continue to be powered by the same 334cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 29.6 bhp of power and 29.9 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.

The Roadster will also retain features such as a slipper-assist clutch, twin exhaust setup, tubeless tyres, alloy wheels, dual-channel ABS, 41mm telescopic front forks, and twin rear shock absorbers with five-step preload adjustability.

In terms of equipment, the motorcycle features a fully digital instrument cluster, an LED headlamp, premium split seats, and a teardrop-style sculpted fuel tank. Additionally, Yezdi offers a range of accessories to enhance the riding experience.

Currently, the Yezdi Roadster is priced at ₹1.93 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle competes in the retro-classic segment against rivals such as the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda H'ness CB350, Jawa 42, and Triumph Speed 400.
